Workshop on Networking and Peer Exchange
Friday, 20 February 2009

Technical networks have received considerable attention and support in the field of development policy, particularly in the last five to ten years. The support is premised on the understanding that connecting people to share knowledge and learn from each other has positive impacts in improving service quality, efficiency and the dissemination of best practices. The structure of a network, the peer learning techniques applied and the quality of networking that emerges varies widely from network to network.

As it is maturing into an international organisation, CABRI wants to examine the best ways to foster network and to retain knowledge among its members. As a result, this workshop offers a platform to similar networks to gain an understanding of one another's structure, management and success so as to develop effective and efficient networking strategies given each network's circumstances.
