The Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)  have launched the reuslts of the Africa-wide budget practices and procedures survey on October 10, 2008. The survey gives budget practitioners the opportunity to compare and contrast national budgeting and financial management practices with a view to share experiences and best practices.

The results of the 26 African countries that participated in the suvey are available below. The spreadsheets allow a cross-country view of each phase of the budget cycle.

CABRI and the African Development Bank have jointly produced a report, which analyses the survey results. The 2008 Report on Budget Practices and Procedures in Africa has been launched at th 5th Annual CABRI Seminar.
