Le Séminaire politique africain se propose de réunir des décideurs de haut niveau afin qu’ils participent à un débat sur la réflexion politique actuelle et les opportunités futures.
7ème séminaire annuel de CABRI sur le thème de faire fonctionner les budgets : Le défi de la mise en œuvre.
Cette année, le séminaire sera organisé conjointement par le ministère des finances et de la planification économique rwandais et il se tiendra à l’Hôtel Serena à Kigali, Rwanda du 17 au 18 août 2011. Le comité de gestion de CABRI se réunira le 16 août 2011.

Atelier de CABRI sur la transparence de l’aide et la bonne gouvernance financière
Du 21 au 22 février 2011, un atelier de CABRI sur la transparence de l’aide et la bonne gouvernance financière sera tenu au Cap en Afrique du Sud. Le but de l’atelier sera (i) de formuler une position de CABRI sur les flux essentiels de l'information de l'aide à des fins de budget pour les pays partenaires et (ii) d’exprimer une position de CABRI sur la bonne gouvernance financière.
Présentation de CABRI à l’occasion de la première réunion de la Communauté des praticiens en matière de GFP.
CABRI fera une présentation sur l’élaboration du budget-programme à la Commission de l’UEMOA à Ouagadougou. L’évènement aura lieu du 6 au 9 décembre 2010.
Présentation de CABRI à l’occasion de la Conférence du Partenariat public-privé (PPP) en Afrique qui aura lieu à Tunis.
CABRI fera une présentation lors de la Conférence du PPP en Afrique qui se tiendra à Tunis. La manifestation se déroulera du 1er au 2 décembre 2010.

Rwanda Aid on Budget Working Session

The first CABRI Aid on Budget working session was jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning of Rwanda (MINECOFIN) and CABRI. The workshop was the culmination of a three-month long research and analytical process of the interface between aid and the budget in Rwanda. The focus chosen for the Rwanda work concerned the ex ante phases of the budget cycle, and programme and project aid.
Meeting of the Joint Venture on PFM - Key messages for the High Level Forum

CABRI and the South African Treasury hosted the Joint Venture on Public Financial Management’s consultative meeting on public financial management. Participants included members of the OECD-DAC Joint Venture on PFM, fourteen partner countries represented by officials from Ministries of Finance and Supreme Audit Institutions.

The official launch of the Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI) took the form of a high level ministerial breakfast meeting as a side event of the 2008 Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank. The meeting was chaired by South Africa's Minister of Finance, Trevor Manuel, and was attended by ministers of finance and planning from a number of African countries.
