It is with deep sadness that we at CABRI received the news of the passing of Isaac Mpoza, Ag. Director: Debt and Cash Management of the Ministry of finance, planning and economic development of Uganda. We met Isaac during our final preparations for our recent workshop on strengthening public debt management in Uganda. Although he was visibly ill, he made the time to share his insights on ways that public debt can be managed more efficiently and sustainably. We know that the best interests of Uganda motivated Isaac, till the very end.

We hope that comfort and strength will be found in the memories of his inspiring personality and unquestionable intellect.
