On 10 June, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH hosted a reception in Johannesburg, South Africa,to reflect on the significant impact of the Good Financial Governance (GFG) in Africa programme as it nears its conclusion this month. 

CABRI’s partnership with GIZ - we are GIZ's most longstanding partner - has been instrumental in advancing our mission, particularly through targeted support in public debt management and robust institutional strengthening. This collaboration has not only enhanced our technical capacity to support African finance ministries but has also fortified CABRI as a resilient, member-led organisation. 

While this chapter of the GFG programme is drawing to a close, CABRI remains steadfast in its commitment to regional progress. We look forward to building on this strong foundation and continuing to collaborate closely with our sister networks to foster sustainable fiscal reforms across the continent.
