Benjamin Sowah Adjetey is the Director of the Budget Office at the Ministry of Finance in Ghana. He is the new representative of Ghana on CABRI's Management Committee (MC) for the period 2025/27 and its General Assembly (GA). In June, Mr Adjetey joined us in South Africa for the 37th CABRI MC and 16th GA meetings in South Africa.

Mr Adjetey talks to us about fiscal discipline, regulatory framework, and expenditure control. Benjamin Sowah Adjetey is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of post qualification working experience. He has skills in finance, accounting, auditing, risk management and project management, including managing donor funded projects.

He has supported private and public sector organizations in designing new and improved financial management procedures and facilitated the development of practice framework documents for use by public sector internal auditors.
