We speak to Dr Kay Brown, CABRI Executive Secretary after our General Assembly Strategic Plan 2024-2029 Consultations Meeting in Kigali, Rwanda on 16 November 2023.

The consultation meeting was an opportunity for CABRI member countries to provide inputs on the Plan and the needs of their countries in terms of PFM reform. Dr Brown talks about the purpose of the meeting, the most pertinent Public Financial Management (PFM) areas that the CABRI General Assembly has expressed, reveals some salient features of the Plan and shares the next steps after Kigali.

The General Assembly Strategic Plan 2024-2029 Consultations Meeting was preceded on 15 November 2023 by CABRI's 27th Management Committee Meeting. Both meetings were supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
