This report shares Uganda’s experience of public-sponsored agriculture service extension. It presents a case study of the National Agricultural Advisory Services Programme (NAADS), which displays how efficient it has been, what impact has been felt and what lessons can be learned to improve technical and budget efficiency in service extension across Africa.
