Priya Beegun
Priya leads the Marketing and Communications department of CABRI. As Marketing and Communications Manager, she is responsible for building an effective and coherent communication policy to enhance the image and optimise the visibility of CABRI. Prior to joining the organisation, she worked for 13 years for the U.S. Department of State at the Embassy of the United States of America to Mauritius and Seychelles.
A specialist in public diplomacy and communications and a former radio and TV reporter, Priya holds a Master’s degree in Social Development from the University of Mauritius, a Bachelor’s degree and a Graduate Diploma in Screen and Media Studies from the University of Waikato, New Zealand and a Bachelor’s degree in French and History from the University of Mauritius.
