Winnie Mageto
Winnie is a Fiscal Policy Economist with a passion for shaping public finance management, gender equity, agriculture, and the inclusion of people with disabilities (PWDs). Her expertise lies in analysing and implementing progressive economic policies, budget reforms, and governance frameworks that drive inclusive and sustainable development.
With over a decade experience, she has worked extensively in public finance management, economic research, and policy advisory, ensuring that fiscal strategies are practical, data-driven, and impactful. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between economic theory and real-world application, empowering stakeholders with the tools to navigate complex economic issues.
Winnie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She is also a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Nairobi.
